This is hands down the best sauce I've ever had. I grew up in a very Italian family and we appreciate a good Italian restaurant. Not only was the service exceptional, but the food was out of this world. I've tried a lot of vodka sauces and this sauce was by far the best. I cannot wait to come back!

It's difficult to write a review for one menu item when I love them all! Il Barone has been my all-time favorite restaurant for many years now. And when I didn't think I could be any happier with their fabulous food, they moved to a fabulous location in Newport Beach. I live in Colorado, but travel to Newport a few times per year and when I do, Il Barone is my first stop!!

No Matter where they are located, Il Barone remains my favorite Italian restaurant in Souther California. The homemade Bresaola brings me back home to Boston when my mom would be in the kitchen pounding the steak, filling it with spices, rolling it up, tying it with string then dropping it in the sauce to simmer for hours. The reward was the tender, flavorful and delicious meal that is totally replicated at Il Barone. Donatella and the staff welcome every guest as if you are coming over their house for a great Italian dinner. Buon appetito

My husband and I had the pleasure to enjoy our date night at Barone in Newport Beach, and I must say it was a tasteful delight. We decided to try the lasagna and Chicken parmesan, and we were not disappointed. The lasagna was a standout! Each layer of pasta, rich meat sauce, and creamy cheese was perfectly balanced, creating a harmonious blend of flavors that melted in our mouth with each bite. The portion size was generous, and the dish was served piping hot, straight from the oven. It was evident that the lasagna was made with care and attention to detail, and it truly felt like a homemade dish. The chicken parmesan, was equally impressive. The chicken was tender, juicy, crispy and smothered with flavorful sauce. The portion size was substantial, and I left the restaurant feeling satisfied and content. Both entrees were top-notch, and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for authentic Italian cuisine in Newport Beach. Whether you're a local resident or just visiting the area, a meal at Barone is sure to be a memorable and delicious experience. I will definitely be returning to try more of their delectable dishes in the future.
